Mose
About the Job
Mose is a maintenance worker at an emergency shelter for families in the homeless community. He's driven by empathy for those in need and forms a close bond with a mischievous boy at the shelter. A gritty mentor, Mose channels his empathy into fixing whatever he can—until he’s forced to confront the one thing he cannot repair: another person. Though burdened by years of disappointment, Mose masks his pain with quick wit, dry humor, and a knack for fixing things. Mose expresses his compassion through wisdom rather than overtly showing his emotion. This role requires subtle emotional depth and the ability to form a natural chemistry with our supporting lead child actor. "Empathy can be traumatic.”
